We're thrilled to announce the launch of the Play Prep Autism Program! Play Prep is an Preschool Readiness program that celebrates and supports children aged 18-42 months with known or suspected Autism and developmental delays. At Play Prep, we understand that every child's path is unique, and we're here to provide the nurturing and specialized environment your child needs to thrive.
Why Play Prep? It's All About Play and Progress!
We recognize the vital role that play holds in a child's development. It's through play that children learn, explore, discover, and make sense of the world around them. Our team of experts, including an Early Education Teacher, Speech Therapist, Occupational Therapist, and Teacher Assistant, is dedicated to building essential play skills, social abilities, and the foundations for classroom routines. At Play Prep, we're not just preparing children for preschool; we're nurturing their curiosity, independence, and love for learning.
Sensory Processing: The Key to Understanding Behavior
Have you ever wondered why some children exhibit certain behaviors? It's likely tied to sensory processing challenges. At Play Prep, we recognize that behaviors often have deeper roots, especially for children with moderate to significant sensory processing challenges and speech and language delays. We understand that many of the behaviors exhibited by our children are closely linked to sensory challenges. Our occupational therapists are knowledgeable and experienced in sensory processing. In addition, our program is ABA supported. ABA therapists perform functional behavior assessments (FBAs) and offer consultative services, enhancing our approach and ensuring that each child's unique needs are met.
Empowering Early Development in a Playful Setting
Play Prep isn't just a program; it's a dynamic and enriching experience. Our center-based setting embraces a collaborative atmosphere where 1:1 and group therapy opportunities come alive. With a small group ratio of 1 adult to every 2 children, each child receives the personalized attention they deserve.
Our highly skilled staff, including Early Education Teachers, Speech Therapists, Occupational Therapists, and Teacher Assistants, create a language-rich environment where play takes center stage. From developing play skills, social abilities, and attentive behaviors to fostering speech and language skills, sensory processing, and classroom participation, every facet of our program paves the way for preschool readiness.
Program Highlights:
Half Day Program, Monday to Thursday
AM Program: 9:00am - 12:30 pm & PM Program: 1:30 - 5:00 pm
